With the Tormek jig for square edges, SE-76, you can sharpen your wood chisels and plane irons to the highest sharpness. The jig aligns the chisel parallel to the grindstone.
This unique construction automatically lines up the chisel to its upper and flat side in the jig. Combined with a side shoulder in the jig, you can position the tool correctly at 90°.
A practical detail is the two safety stops that prevent the tool from gliding off the grindstone. They make it possible to sharpen relaxed and efficient using the whole width of the stone without risking hurting your fingers.
The jig fits wood chisels and plane irons up to 76 mm (3"). It can also handle chisels with a tapered shank.
